Getting a Massage isn’t just a treat, it’s good for your health.
Each therapy session is tailored specifically to the needs of your body and mind.
Step 1: Choose the type of massage you want
-
The BB signature is exceptionally unique and specifically tailored to each individual client. Depending on your preference, the function of the massage can vary from relaxing to therapeutic. Soft relaxing music, a warm table, and long full body Swedish strokes could be used to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system allowing your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation. Or, if you prefer a therapeutic style of massage, several technical modalities including Thai, gua sha, cupping, and deep tissue techniques will be used to meet your needs. Of course, a combination of the two is the best of both worlds

Inspired by Eastern massage techniques, Ashiatsu ("Ashi"=foot, "atsu"=pressure) is an effective treatment for chronic neck and back pain recognized by the American Massage Therapy Association. The technique is performed on a massage table. The therapist supports herself using wooden bars suspended from the ceiling and applies deep foot pressure to strategic points along the spine and body for maximum muscle compression. If you like a deep massage, you will LOVE this exotic treatment!

Myofascial release is a manual therapy technique that focuses on addressing the pain that arises from myofascial tissue - the tissue that wraps, connects, and supports your muscles. During a myofascial release massage, the therapist locates these areas, which are often the cause of immobility - contributing to muscular pain. The manual pressure and stretching that is applied will loosen up this restricted movement, with the intent to reduce pain. This is a highly effective treatment for chronic pain and injury recovery. This therapy is practiced to induce long-term results. Myofascial can be received as a standalone treatment, or it can be incorporated into your massage session.

Thai or Ashi-Thai is an expression of traditional techniques and exercises, where the therapist maneuvers your limbs into deep relaxing stretches. Compression of muscle tissue is applied throughout the session, helping to release spasm, muscle contraction, and tension, always working within your perfect range of pressure. This massage can be combined with a BB Signature Massage or if you prefer it can be performed through loose comfortable clothing.

Thai Massage combines gentle stretching with rhythmic compressions using the therapist’s feet, palms, knees, forearms, and elbows. This unique style of bodywork is designed to increase circulation, release tension, and improve flexibility by guiding the body through dynamic stretches.
No oils are used during the session, and the client remains fully clothed. To maximize comfort and mobility, we recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement.
Benefits of Thai massage may include deep relaxation, improved range of motion, pain relief, and a greater connection between mind and body. Whether you’re looking to ease tension or enhance flexibility, Thai massage offers a refreshing and revitalizing experience.

CST is especially helpful for chronic pain, head or spinal conditions, nervous system disorders, and degenerative conditions. Craniosacral therapy can be incorporated into a regular massage session or it can be performed as a stand-alone treatment while fully clothed. CST uses gentle pressure on the head, neck, and back to relieve the stress and pain caused by compression and inflammation.

Cupping is an ancient therapy that was developed to decrease pain while increasing circulation and energy. Cupping is performed as part of our signature massage and is done as a treatment for a problem area. Cupping marks are left on the skin by the suction of the cup pulling toxins to the surface of the body. These marks are minimal, not painful and they fade quickly.
