Nonnie Howard
She has been practicing yoga off and on for almost 30 years. After her daughter was born in 2010, she renewed her focus on yoga and introduced meditation to her practice.
She was inspired to start an after-school yoga club at her daughter’s elementary school. She wanted to learn more of the why behind the yoga and attended a yearlong course at YogaLife Institute where she received her 250 Hour RYT certification in March of 2019. From there, her love of the classical yoga lifestyle came to fruition.
She loves the physical side of the practice, but mostly enjoys learning the history and philosophy of yoga and sharing that in her teaching style. The more she learns and experiences the benefits of the yoga lifestyle, the more passionate she becomes about sharing this wonderful gift.
Nonnie is an empathetic yoga practitioner and instructor. She has a passion for helping students find their own voice in yoga by listening to their bodies and finding poses that work for them. She believes yoga is more than just the physical movement, but a lifestyle to be practiced and experienced.
Focusing on the breath, she guides the students through a slow mindful practice with the goal of sharing her love for the practice and helping her students create space for a little bit of Grace & Peace.
