Introduction to Juicing

Are you interested in exploring all of the ways that juicing can benefit your health? In this workshop, we will learn about the beneficial properties, why we juice, who it benefits, when it is best to juice, and of course - what to juice! Charli will also cover the different types of juicers, what they can and cannot juice, and which juicer is right for you. At the end of this workshop, we will go over the 5 w's of cleansing before closing with a question and answer session. Throughout this workshop, Charli will be demonstrating with 2 different types of juices and one smoothie for you to taste!

Beginner’s Yoga Wheel Workshop

Do you have a yoga wheel or have you been wanting to try one? Would you like to learn different ways to use this wheel in your yoga practice and how it can help you? In this workshop, you will learn the different ways you can use the wheel in your practice to stretch, strengthen, tone and even flow with it.

In addition to props (blocks, bolsters, and blankets) the yoga wheel is a very useful prop as it helps to keep you upright, and it lends support which can help prevent incorrect body alignment injuries that occur from inappropriate posture. This useful prop is great for all levels of practice from beginners to advanced.

Charee has used the wheel in yoga and dancing as an athletic stretching & recovery tool.The wheel will allow you to gain more flexibility in your spine, hips, shoulders, strengthen your core, and other major muscle groups.

Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga

New momma's and soon to be momma's, take some time for yourself! This yoga class is ideal for pregnant women and those who are recovering from childbirth. We will focus on yoga poses, breath work, and relaxation techniques that will help with childbirth and recovery. Physically and mentally easing discomforts that come with pregnancy and help the rehabilitation of the body postpartum. This class is open to all points of pregnancy as well as those postpartum looking to move in a safe and beneficial way.

LoveYourBrain Yoga for the Traumatic Brain Injury Community

A FREE 6-week yoga and meditation series for people who have experienced a TBI (including concussion) and their caregivers

- Participate in gentle yoga adapted for the TBI community, learn meditation techniques to promote relaxation, connect with others who have experienced a TBI through group discussion

Yin Yoga Class

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more.

How to Safely Incorporate Yin Yoga Shapes to Vinyasa Classes with Jen Ciarimboli - Teaching Immersion

In this six-hour immersion learn how to safely use and blend Yin Yoga shapes with our Vinyasa Flow classes, in order to complement the intention of the class. We'll spend ample time looking at how connective tissue is targeted in Yin Yoga, how it responds to passive holds in the practice and how to safely move beyond a passive hold.

Yin Yoga Teacher Training Fundamentals

In this 50-hour training, including 45 contact hours, we will explore the foundational theories, benefits and teaching methodology of Yin Yoga. We discuss the deep ancient roots of the practice and how the Taoist & Buddhist philosophies have shaped and influenced the intentions and teachings. Together, through practice, lecture, dyad and small group work, we’ll explore the non-striving, passive nature of yin yoga and the importance of intentionality. Significant time will be spent on understanding the foundation of the meridian system of Chinese medicine as it relates to yin yoga and how Qi is affected through the practice. We will take time to delve deeply into the yin yoga shapes, sequencing, and to how to incorporate yin yoga and philosophy into any practice for any student population. A great emphasis will be placed on daily practice, self inquiry and developing a mindfulness practice in your role as a yin yoga teacher.

This training is suitable for teachers with a minimum of 200 hrs of prior yoga teacher training with a desire to teach yin yoga.
