BB Signature Massage

The Blue Buddha Signature Massage is exceptionally unique and specifically tailored to each individual client. Depending on your preference, the function of the massage can vary from relaxing to therapeutic. Soft relaxing music, a warm table and long full body Swedish strokes could be used to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system allowing your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation. Or, if you prefer a therapeutic style of massage, several technical modalities including Thai, gua sha, cupping and deep tissue techniques will be used to meet your needs. Of course, a combination of the two is the best of both worlds!

Ashiatsu Massage

Inspired by Eastern massage techniques, Ashiatsu ("Ashi"=foot, "atsu"=pressure) is an effective treatment for chronic neck and back pain recognized by the American Massage Therapy Association. The technique is performed on a massage table. The therapist supports herself using wooden bars suspended from the ceiling and applies deep foot pressure to strategic points along the spine and body for maximum muscle compression. If you like deep massage, you will LOVE this exotic treatment!

thai massage

Thai or Ashi-Thai is an expression of traditional techniques and exercises, where the therapist maneuvers your limbs into deep relaxing stretches. Compression of muscle tissue is applied throughout the session, helping to release spasm, muscle contraction and tension, always working within your perfect range of pressure. This massage can be combined with a BB Signature Massage or if you prefer it can be performed through loose comfortable clothing.

craniosacral massage

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on healing modality that focuses on the wave-like rhythmic pulse that goes through the entire body.  This approach emphasizes the role of the musculoskeletal system in health and disease.  The goal is to release adhesions throughout the crania sacral system.  This encourages the flow of cerebral spinal fluid, bringing nourishment to the brain and spinal cord—the base of our nervous system. Great for headaches, fibromyalgia, sports injuries & emotional trama.

Myofascial massage

These highly effective techniques soften and release the fascia - the web of connective tissue that runs throughout our bodies. It provides lasting results for most conditions, especially chronic pain, degenerative and repetitive conditions and trauma and surgery recovery.

Practicing Therapists: Julie Weigand, Anthony Guidotti

prenatal massage

Prenatal massage is intended to nurture our expecting mothers while their bodies are hard at work growing babies. This massage can also help to sooth some of the aches and pains associated with pregnancy. It can also provide time for the new mama to relax and unwind.

Reiki is an ancient therapy that was developed to enhance the bodies energy flow thus allowing the body to clear its own toxins. This treatment is performed with the client comfortably clothed and lying on their back. The therapist hands will hoover over or be gently placed on the client. This treatment can be performed alone or combined with our BB Signature Massage.
Practicing Therapists: Julie Weigand, Anthony Guidotti

hot stone massage

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands.  The heat from the stones can be deeply relaxing and help warm up the tight muscle tissue so the therapist can work more deeply, and quickly.
Practicing Therapists: Kayla Woodward, Julie Weigand, Laura Ward

Cupping is an ancient therapy that was developed to decrease pain while increasing circulation and energy. Cupping is performed as part of our signature massage and is done as a treatment for a problem area. Cupping marks are left on the skin by the suction of the cup pulling toxins to the surface of the body. These marks are minimal, not painful and they fade quickly.

DERMO (skin); NEURO (nervous system); MODULATION (change). DNM is a slow, gentle, and pain-free technique based in Neuroscience that interacts with the nervous system to effect change, resolve pain and regain function. The technique addresses all types of musculoskeletal pain and nerve compression/tunnel syndromes. It is highly effective in treating chronic pain, chronic tension patterns, and performance issues such as flexibility, mobility, and range of motion. DNM is ideal for people who cannot have deep work, have limited mobility, and people who are contraindicated for traditional massage. However, it can be combined with any other modality (including therapeutic deep work) to suit a client's specific needs and goals.
